Let's ban together and oppose SB249

Here's a suggested letter:

Please join me by opposing SB 249 because it is a continued assault on our Second Amendment Rights.

This Bill is also know as the Anti-"Bullet Button" Law which in fact is really a way to stop the import to CA "conversion kits" that assure rifles in CA are fully compliant with current legislation.

The facts according to the CA Department of Justice are that since 1999, crimes with "assault weapons" are almost nonexistent! Additionally, there is not a single reported incident of a crime being committed with a rifle equipped with a "Bullet Button". It's obvious, SB 249 is unnecessary. It will however do 2 things if passed;

1) Infringe upon the rights of the people to keep and bear arms. (anti-constitutional)

2) Make criminals out of current law abiding citizens who legally own rifles so equipped.

Please Oppose SB249. I know together we find a better way to fight crime. I assure you, it's not by eroding US citizens their constitutional rights.
